Diet is an important cornerstone to proper care, and every pet owner should know the basics of nutrition. There are an incredible number of excellent quality diets available and more becoming available all the time. These diets can provide optimal nutrition for various life stages and also can help address specific disease problems.

Selecting the right pet food can be a challenge, as is trying to understand nutrition labels. During the month of May, Garibaldi Veterinary Hospital will be providing complimentary nutrition consultations to help you optimize your pet’s diet for good health. We’ll also provide advice on optimal nutrition for various life stages such as growth, adult and senior, and discuss how a well-balanced diet can help address specific disease problems including kidney disease, diabetes, obesity, food allergies and dental disease, to name just a few.

Wherever possible we will also provide a free bag of appropriate food for your pet!
